Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets the ground rules for using NoirClient and its optional online services so the launcher stays safe and reliable for everyone. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Last updated: June 26, 2026 · Operated from Dubai, UAE

1. Scope

This policy applies to anyone who downloads or uses NoirClient (the "Software"), this website, and optional services such as Cloud Sync. By using NoirClient you agree to follow it.

2. Allowed use

  • Launch and manage your own Minecraft installations and instances.
  • Install mods and packs from sources you are allowed to use.
  • Use official Microsoft accounts you own, or offline accounts where permitted.
  • Configure performance settings for your personal machines.

3. Prohibited use

You must not use NoirClient to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, the Minecraft EULA, or third-party rights.
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, miners, or deceptive software.
  • Pirate, crack, or circumvent paid Minecraft ownership where required by a server or service.
  • Deploy cheats, exploits, or griefing tools intended to harm other players or servers.
  • Harass, threaten, dox, or abuse others through any NoirClient feature.
  • Resell, rebrand, or redistribute NoirClient as your own product.
  • Misuse another person's account or credentials.

4. Security & integrity

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to NoirClient servers, other users, or any third-party system.
  • Probe, scan, overload, or disrupt our infrastructure (including denial-of-service attempts).
  • Bypass, disable, or tamper with security, authentication, or rate-limiting features.
  • Use automated means to abuse Cloud Sync, downloads, or other services.

Good-faith security research is welcome — please report findings instead of exploiting them (see Reporting).

5. Mods & user content

You are responsible for the mods, packs, and files you install or share. Only use content you have the right to use, and respect the licenses set by mod authors and platforms like CurseForge and Modrinth.

6. Enforcement

If you breach this policy, we may remove offending content, suspend or terminate optional online services, and, where appropriate, report activity to the relevant authorities. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban from our services.

7. Reporting abuse or vulnerabilities

To report abuse, prohibited use, or a security vulnerability, contact the maintainer on Discord (@lonerloop). Please include enough detail for us to reproduce and act on the issue.
